Hi, I’m Dr. Hazany. I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in neuroscience from UCLA and went on to finish at the top of my class at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. During medical school, I was fortunate to receive several prestigious scholarships and awards from the Mayo Clinic and the National Institutes of Health.

After medical school, I completed a one-year surgery internship focused on plastic surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. I then specialized in medical and surgical dermatology during my residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, where I had the honor of serving as Chief Resident from 2013–2014. Following residency, I completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and laser surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital under Dr. Leonard Goldberg.

I’ve published multiple scientific articles and book chapters in facial plastic surgery and dermatology, and I’m a two-time recipient of the Cosmetic Surgery Forum’s “Best Oral Presentation” award. I am also a proud member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and a diplomat for the American Board of Dermatology.
